In this free download you will receive 4 different layered free cut files in PNG or SVG file format whichever you prefer. Each cut file will have different layers that can be cut a different colour! The files will be black. They are labelled by the colour I suggest cutting them.
I chose three colours for my Union Jack Teapot SVG cut files and cut a few of each colour with the top layer 1 in white. I also added an extra one colour layer file that can be cut in vinyl.

How can I cut the British Teapot SVG celebration cut file on the Silhouette cameo?

You will also need a cutting machine that it linked to your computer. Such as a Cricut, Silhouette Cameo 4 or a Silhouette Portrait. Both are a fabulous pieces of kit and perfect for any crafter or scrapbooker. The cut files you will receive are a PNG which automatically traces in most cut design spaces as well as an SVG file. What do I need to cut my layered SVG in Card?

To cut out your layered SVG in card for a craft project you will need the following;

• Card stock that cuts well on a cutting machine ( I like American Crafts Card stock )
• A cutting machine such as a Silhouette Cameo 4 or a Cricut maker ( I use a Silhouette Cameo or a Silhouette Portait machine.
• A cutting Mat
• weeding tools
• A brayer to smooth the card stock to the mat
• Sticky foam pads so raise up your layers
• Glue if you wish to stick flat ( I like this Tombow Mono Glue )

I use foam pads for my layers and wet glue to stick the top layer.

How to cut the Union Jack Teapot SVG files the same size

To cut your card Union Jack Teapot SVG you need to make sure all layers are the same size.
You can resize the first one to whatever size you would like and then make sure the others are the same on your cutting machine. You can do this on the Cricut in Design Space or on the Silhouette.

How to resize a PNG in Silhouette design space

To resize in Silhouette Studio go to the transform panel which looks like bars in different lengths. Click on scale which is the icon that is a line with an arrow at either end.
You Can either resize by 50% smaller or put in your own dimensions.
To specify the dimensions go to the two bottom boxes. Click the lock button on the right to constrain the design dimensions as the image is not the same both sides.

To keep the same dimension but fit the page just put in the width size in to the top box with lock checked. It will keeps the same shape but fit it to your page or the size you would like.
I made mine 7.5 inches in width by putting 7.5 in the top box and pressing return. This size was good to fit on a A4 piece of card.
Eveytime you cut a new layer do the same this way all of your layers will fit together.
