How to get to Puerto Banus from Marbella by boat

You can easily get to Puerto Banus from by Marbella by Taxi , Bus, Boat or ferry. Going by ferry boat from Marbella to Puerto Banus is a great alternative instead of a taxi. You can also do it the opposite way and take a ferry trip from Puerto Banus to Marbella. The Marbella boat trip company Fly Blue operates a ferry boat that does just this. Fly Blue ferry is open in High season from mid March to as late as mid November.

You can get the boat one way or a return this could be a lovely way to turn up in Puerto Banus for a night out.

Ferry Fly Blue ticket prices and timetable

A return trip from to Puerto Banus to ferry Marbella costs just €15 for adults and €9 euros for children. Alternatively get the ferry one way which will cost 9 euros for adults and 6 euros for children. Children are classed as adults over 12 and children under 3 travel free.

The Puerto Banus to Marbella Boat Trip operates every day between approx 10.30am and 8pm and on every hour or half an hour.

Where can I catch the the ferry in Puerto Banus?

If you are want to catch a boat from Puerto Banús the ferry stops in the port just outside Sinatra’s bar. This is easy to find from the main roundabout at the end of Avenida de José Banus. Walk in to the port and you will see Fly Blue Ferry to your left. 

If you find yourself at the other end of the port near Astral Cocktail bar you are at the wrong end so walk along the port to the other end.

Where can I catch the Ferry Marbella to Puerto Banus?

If you are catching the Marbella Catamaran to Puerto Banus you need to walk to the end of the marina where all of the boats are. You will see a statue of San Bernie. Just follow the white wall all the way to the end past the boats where the fly blue ferry will arrive.

You can purchase your tickets at the marina entrance Puerto Deportivo In Marbella if it is open or direct from the boat.

Enjoy a drink onboard Fly Blue Ferry

The Fly Blue boat is a pleasure to experience in itself. Climb onboard the Marbella Catamaran and sip a glass of sangria or a Cava and enjoy the views. In 30 minutes time you will have reached your destination of Marbella or Puerto Banus ready to explore.

You can purchase drinks whilst onboard Fly Blue ferry also. Water costs €1.50, soft drinks are €2, Beer are€2.50 or a Cava is just €5.

You can sit on the Fly Blue Catamaran upstairs in the sun or on the front on the netting. There is also shade inside the undercover area . The views are beautiful of the Marbella golden mile.

Fly Blue Ferry also operate a two hour fun catamaran boat trip departing from Puerto Banus or Marbella Marina. This 2 hour ride along the Marbella coastline is great fun and perfect for cooling off in the hot Costa Del Sol sun. During this day trip you can  jump off of the side of the catamaran for a swim in the clear blue sea.

This catamaran trip from Puerto Banus takes place at 16.30 to 18.30 on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays an sundays. The time from Marbella is 12.00 t0 2.00. It costs 25 Euros for adults and 15 euros for children to do the 2 hour boat trip in Puerto Banus or Marbella.

There are many things to do in Puerto Banus.of course you can catch the Puerto Banus to Marbella Boat Trip for a start!

The shops are high end and up market such as Dior and Louis Vuitton. There are also lots of boutique shops, bars and restaurants along the front of the port. It is nice to take stroll along to Astrals which is the ship shape cocktail bar at the end of the port for drink. Alternatively in the opposite direction away from the Yachts you can walk along the beach and grab a sunbed. There are also Markets in the area such as the antique market at the bull ring and plenty of shopping centres with more high street stores.

There are also three very good beach clubs in Puerto Banus. Ocean Club, Plaza beach and my personal favourite La Sala by by the Sea.

Things to do in Marbella by ferry

Marbella Old town is a beautiful place to visit and is easily reachable in just 10 minutes from the port. Stroll around beautiful quaint streets adorned with fountains and flowers. 

There is lots of history in Marbella, plenty of authentic tapas and many pretty boutique shops to explore also.
