Layered Mother’s Day Wreath SVG

Mother’s Day is a special time so I have created this Layered Mother’s Day wreath with flowers and butterflies for Mother’s Day crafts. You can use this pretty Mother’s Day paper cut for cards crafting or scrapbooking. The Mother’s Day wreath is filled with butterfly’s and roses with a simple Mum or Mom in the centre. You can your mothers day SVG out on your silhouette or Cricut in any colour you like! 

You can cut this mom cut file using the word mom or mum depending on where you are in the world. You can use the rose Mum SVG wreath svg for all sorts of card crafts, or you can cut it in vinyl for a mothers day mug or a beautiful cushion.

Cut your mom floral wreath in different coloured cards or patterned papers or use layer 1 SVG for a vinyl cut on a t shirt. You can add more dimension to your 3d layered paper art wreath SVG by using embellishments. Try adding some nuvo dots or gems to make it stand out! 3D Layered Mother’s Day wreath SVG  For Cricut crafts, Cards, vinyl and Scrapbooking

In this free download you will receive 5 different layered free cut files in PNG or SVG file format whichever you prefer. Each cut file will have different layers that can be cut a different colour! The files will be black.
I chose a range of colours for my Layered mothers day SVG cut files and cut a few of each pastel colour with the top layer 1 in white.

You will get the following SVGs And PNG’s;

• The first layer I cut white in a choice of MOM or MUM ( this can be cut on its own for vinyl )
• The second layer is the roses, I cut in orange but you could do pink
• Layer 3 is lilac or blue in a choice of MOM or MUM
• Layer 4 I cut in yellow 
• The 5th layer is green for the leaves.

If you want to back each piece a different colour you can too! Just cut the top piece number 1 in white or black and do other pieces by hand. How can I cut the Mother’s Day on the Silhouette cameo?

You will also need a cutting machine that it linked to your computer. Such as a Cricut, Silhouette Cameo 4 or a Silhouette Portrait. Both are a fabulous pieces of kit and perfect for any crafter or scrapbooker. The cut files you will receive are a PNG which automatically traces in most cut design spaces as well as an SVG file. What do I need to cut my layered SVG in Card?

To cut out your layered SVG in card for a craft project you will need the following;

• Card stock that cuts well on a cutting machine ( I like American Crafts Card stock )
• A cutting machine such as a Silhouette Cameo 4 or a Cricut maker ( I use a Silhouette Cameo or a Silhouette Portait machine.
• A cutting Mat
• weeding tools
• A brayer to smooth the card stock to the mat
• Sticky foam pads so raise up your layers
• Glue if you wish to stick flat ( I like this Tombow Mono Glue )

I use foam pads for my layers and wet glue to stick the top layer.

How to cut the Mother’s Day files the same size

To cut your card Mother’s Day Wreath you need to make sure all layers are the same size.
You can resize the first one to whatever size you would like and then make sure the others are the same on your cutting machine. You can do this on the Cricut in Design Space or on the Silhouette.

How to resize a PNG in Silhouette design space

To resize in Silhouette Studio go to the transform panel which looks like bars in different lengths. Click on scale which is the icon that is a line with an arrow at either end.
You Can either resize by 50% smaller or put in your own dimensions.
To specify the dimensions go to the two bottom boxes. Click the lock button on the right to constrain the design dimensions as the image is not the same both sides.

To keep the same dimension but fit the page just put in the width size in to the top box with lock checked. It will keeps the same shape but fit it to your page or the size you would like.
I made mine 11 inches in width by putting 11 in the top box and pressing return, you can fit lots on one cutting mat.
Eveytime you cut a new layer do the same this way all of your layers will fit together.
