The Natural History Museum Ice rink 

This stunning Ice Rink at the Natural History Museum is one of the most magical places to be this winter. It is set against the backdrop of the Waterhouse building surrounded by fairy lights in frost-covered christmas trees. Skate your way around the rink with cosy gloves and the smell of mulled wine in the air.

When: It is open from 22nd October to 16th January 2022. from 10.00-22.00 (times may vary)  It is Closed on the 25th of December.

Price: The natural history museum ice rink costs £12.65 for adults, £8.80 for children and families are from £39.60.

Somerset house’s ice rink

Somerset House is a huge ice rink with an impressive backdrop. This year the ice rink Skate at Somerset House returns, with an exciting new partnership this year with Moët & Chandon! promising a spectacular season of celebration in the heart of London. Skate under the stars and a very spectacular tree right in the centre. They are doing 24 hr skating sessions so you could skate all night long!

London’s Hyde park Winter Wonderland 

One of the most well known Winter Wonderlands is held in London Hyde park. Not only can you skate but you can eat, visit Santa and try a array of fairground rides. With an Ice bar a fire pit and a multitude of shows and things to do you just may stay there all day a truly magical feast for everyone. At Winter wonderland you can skate under a canopy of twinkly lights and built around the iconic Victorian bandstand. They also have skate aids for kids. You can even take your own skates!

Queens House Ice rink at the Royal Museums Greenwich

A London Ice rink that opens later in January

The world UNESCO buildings of the Royal museum Greenwich are hosting Ice skating. With views over the Thames the historical Queens House is sure to be a breathtaking retreat this winter.

When: The ice rink is open every day except Christmas Day from Thursday 18 November 2021 – Sunday 9 January 2022.

Hampton Court Palace Ice rink 

Is this the most scenic of all wintery rinks? Imagine skating at Hampton court the historic home of Henry the V111! This is perfect for families as they offer Penguin and Banana skate aids for the kids. These are available to pre-book. whizzing around the ice here costs just £10.50 for children and £15 for adults. You can skate this year from the 22nd of November to the 5th of January excluding christmas day.

When: Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink is open daily from 19 November 2021 – 2 January 2022 (excluding Christmas day).

All year round iceskating at Alexander Palace Ice rink 

This ice rink at the Alexandra Palace is open all year round! There is even an Ice Disco that takes place every Saturday from 8:30 to 11pm, and monthly appearance’s from legendary London DJ Club de Forage. Situated inside the iconic Victorian building its a tad warmer too.

Canary Wharf Ice Rink London

This Pop-up ice rink At Canary Wharf has scenic backgrounds of London’s most impressive buildings and the perfect back drop for winter in London. The ice rink is in the heart of Canary Wharf’s Canada Square Park, beneath the steel roof and glass of One Canada Square adorned with lights. The ice rink is available from 4 year upwards.

When: This year, the Canary Wharf ice rink will be open for 18 weeks, beginning on the Saturday the 23rd October 2021.runs until end of February and is therefore also great for a Valentine’s Day date night. In 2022, February the 14th falls on a Monday.
