Now the sun has come out finally it’s made me start to think about my wardrobe and ditching the chunky knits and putting a flash of pink lippy on.
There is so much floral out in the shops today and I’m a big fan, anything from retro prints, ditsy flowers to totally tropical. Here is my Spring Floral fashion Edit and my Lottie Aspinal of London Bag
So this post is a roundup of all the things I love right now that make me feel fresh. One of the great things about central London is the amount of pop up shops, I’m forever wandering around and finding new shops to pop into and visit.
A few weeks ago I came across Edy and Bridge, clothes handmade in London with a vintage charm. Think simple tunic dresses, tops, appliqué sweats and cute accessories. I think it was the pretty floral prints that drew me in to the shop where I stayed chatting with Jenni the owner for quite some time.
I picked up a gem of a top in the most vibrant retro print I’ve seen, the green instantly reminded me of my gorgeous grass green Aspinal of London Lottie bag I had, so I simply had to have it. Paired with a simple pair of black jeans or some shorts in the summer who could go wrong?
I also bagged a pretty vintage collar to dress up any outfit. I’m looking forward seeing more pieces of Edy and Bridges clothes pop up on their website and hopefully another pop up store.
I’ve adored Aspinal of London for years and I’m sporting rather a collection at the moment. The Aspinal of London small Lottie bag is one of my favourites. The Lottie is Perfect to take you from day in to the evening with an elegant chain strap.
Each Lottie is sturdy in shape and is not floppy or flimsy the simple signature letter box closure looks beautiful too. The green is lined in a nice dark colour so won’t mark inside either and I may not use this colour everyday but it actually matches with quite a lot.
Grass green pebble is now discontinued but Aspinal continue every season to add more beautiful colours to their range.
I can easily fit my phone, purse and makeup in for a day out, and even a small umbrella. It can be worn cross body during the day or with the Chain doubled up you can pop in under your arm.
The Lottie is also available in a larger size and I’ve heard under the radar that an mini one is coming in the autumn too! It is the perfect classic bag that you can use for years.
So since Spring has definitely sprung, Its time to don a pair of classic sunglasses, a simple classic chain bag and some new makeup. With that my bare minerals get glowing kit from Qvc came just at the right time for me to get glowing. To see what treats were in this kit take a look here.
Following on from the spring trends this year I purchased this gorgeous suit from River island, slightly stretchy capri skinny trousers and a fantastic two piece top – jacket. Perfect to be worn together or separately.
I hope you enjoyed Spring Floral fashion Edit and my Lottie Aspinal of London Bag , I am eyeing up the new colours now I would love more in my wardrobe.
