This year Covent Gardens christmas rink is free! A beautiful Tiffany of London inspired ice rink. Skate in Covent Gardens piazza amongst the scent of Tiffanys perfume. The huge giant Tiffany bottle gently scents the air with fragrance ( it smells amazing! ) while you skate to your hearts content. You enter under a bridge inspired by the New York’s Central Park bridge. If tickets are all sold out on Eventbrite for ice-skating you still may be able to sign up on the day. Tickets are free and you can book via Eventbrite.

2. The natural history museum Ice rink
This stunning Ice Rink at the Natural History Museum is one of the most magical places to be this winter. It is set against the backdrop of the Waterhouse building surrounded by fairy lights in frost-covered christmas trees. Skate your way around the rink with cosy gloves and the smell of mulled wine in the air.

Somerset House is a huge ice rink with an impressive backdrop. This year the ice rink will be again hosted by Fortnum and mason with a spectacular tree right in the centre. They are doing 24 hr skating sessions so you could skate all night long! Prices start at just £11 you can go from 13th November to the 4th January.

One of the most well known Winter Wonderlands is held in London Hyde park. Not only can you skate but you can eat, visit santa and try a array of fairground rides. With an Ice bar a fire pit and a multitude of shows and things to do you just may stay there all day a truly magical feast for everyone. Winter wonderland is open from the 21st of November to the 5th of January and they also have skate aids for kids. You can even take your own skates!

6. Queens House Ice rink at the Royal Museums Greenwich
A London Ice rink that opens later in January
The world UNESCO buildings of the Royal museum Greenwich are hosting Ice skating. With views over the Thames this is sure to be a breathtaking retreat this winter. This opens later in to January too! Not closing until the 12th of January. It cost from £13.50 for adults and from £8 for children.

This is perfect for families as they offer Penguin and Banana skate aids for the kids. These are available to pre-book. whizzing around the ice here costs just £10.50 for children and £15 for adults.
