I am writing this with my feet up on my patio taking a break from the midday sun. As we are working our way through our second week. I thought I would share with you exactly what Beaches Resort is all about.
Parrot Cay Villas in the Caribbean Village
We arrived on the British airways flight direct from Gatwick London on Sunday (well as direct as you can, as it stops over in Antigua to drop of passengers)
The transfer was super easy with a bus directly outside waiting for us. After a 10 minute drive we arrived on our First Week in Beaches All Inclusive Resort Turks and Caicos.
Our home for the week is a gorgeous two room ground floor Parrot Cay villa right behind the dive shop just a 30 second hop to the beach. We like this location as it is quiet and my hubby dives so perfect for him.
Being situated in the Caribbean village is wonderful it’s very central, close to the beach and feels just how the Caribbean should do.
The rooms here in Parrot cay have just been refurbished in a contemporary Caribbean style. We have a queen room and a separate living area with two single trundle beds. As this room grade is concierge we also have a fully stocked bar.
We have the ground floor with all three patio doors plenty of outside space, Yep that’s my lap top on the bed.
Lazing all day by the French Pool
Our preferred choice of pool is in the French village. One of the original pools slightly quieter during the day than the other pools with a chilled out vibe. You can however visit any pool of your choice from the Iguana sports pool to the lively Italian or the stylish laid back Key West.
Visiting the Island
This is our 5th visit to Beaches Resort Turks and Caicos and I can honestly say we fell in love at first sight.
The beach has been rated top beach in the world on trip advisor and you can see why. Stunning white sands as far as the eye can see with crystal blue waters. You can take day trips out to different parts of the island such as Shell Island or Iguana Island. This can be organised by Island routes who are located in the Carribean village or the Italian village. We always hop on a Kitty kat cruise and spend some time snorkelling, jumping in to the sea and exploring.
Amazing Surroundings of the resort
The people here are amazing the staff can not do enough and are so polite and kind. We have met and made some great friends who we always try and catch up with on our return.
The gardens here are also spectacular with flowers everywhere you look. They are constantly being manicured and worked on and the whole resort is spotless and clean.
With a choice of 21 restaurants you are spoilt for choice!
Beaches Resort Turks and Caicos has every culinary cuisine you can think of. Classic Caribbean buffet in Refections, French cuisine in The petit Chateau to good old American in Bobby Ds. Take your taste buds around the world with Indian, English , French , Japanese, Mexican, Greek , American and Caribbean.
We had a few favourites during our stay and I’ll be doing a more extensive post very soon.
Kids wonderland at Beaches Turks and Caicos.
There really is so much to do at Beaches Resort. With kids clubs from tots to teens there is something for them all. There is also a huge play area Pirate Island with slides, a wave rider, swim up bar, lazy river and even popcorn machine. The Teens have thier own lounge, there is table tennis and even an X Box lounge. Take a look at our previous visit and what is on offer for kids here.
Evening fun and drinks
We have spent a plenty of time trying out as many cocktails as we could. We have boogied the night away in club Liquid, sung karaoke in the Criketers Pub and watched flame throwers on stage.
There are shows every night including the Sesame Street show for little one, games shows and talent shows for kids. You can see what is going on each day on the daily planner which you receive in your room each night.
Spa or diving?
I have the lazy one this holiday and spent my days sipping cocktails. Trying out each swim up bar and treating myself in the Red Lane Spa. For me this was a no brainer, perfectly chilled and pampered.
If this is not your idea of heaven there is plenty of watersports to get stuck in as well. Included at Beaches All Inclusive Resort are snorkelling trips, glass bottom boat trips, kayaking, and also hobie cat sailing.
Darren my Hubby has dived almost every day. If you are a certified diver your diving is free and unlimited during your stay. You can however learn to dive by taking a certified PADI course while you at at the resort. My son Owen has just completed his rescue diving course and what a place to do it in!
I still have to pinch myself that I am really here, and this post has only covered a fraction of what Beaches All Inclusive Resort Turks and Caicos has to offer. We are having an amazing time! So excuse me while I go and dip my toes in the ocean!
Lets see what we can get up to next!
