It’s been a while since I’ve done a weekly roundup, but this week could not go unnoticed as it’s been A Week of Champagne and Celebrations. I honestly think all I have drunk this week is champagne, how lucky am l?

It all started last Friday with my trip to Cake-boy and winning the cupcake contest. We had a glorious afternoon tea served with amazing desserts and champagne which you can read more about here.

Tuesday took me up the shard with one of my best friends Sarah from Extraordinary Chaos. Whilst We were up the shard I got a notification to say I had won a competition with Circulon. A nights stay in a hotel for two with a cookery class at Lieths and some fantastic cooking equipment. All from this cookery photo below, I am so excited I can not wait to attend the cookery course.

Needless to say as soon as we saw the Lanson Champagne bar on floor 69 of The Shard we started to celebrate.

It was a full on day followed by an afternoon tea at the Sofitel st James with yet more champagne. I will be writing about this in more detail very soon.

Yet more champagne was to follow as our youngest son had his opening night in the west end show School of Rock!

I must say we were so proud and school of rock really rocks, I cannot wait to see it again next week. The children are so talented and have a ball on stage, I’m actually quite jealous.

So with a excuse to celebrate we hopped of to the trendy little restaurant Champagne and Fromage in Wellington street. We love to find different places in and around London and this is one of our faves!

Their melted camembert and cheese boards are delicious, as well as their range of Champagnes. Having carefully sourced 16 beautiful champagnes from the champagne region in France you can be rest assured you will tasting the very best. You can also enjoy wine tasting there too.

This week has left me thoroughly exhausted but with some great memories to share.

I think I need to celebrate my week with more champagne! I hope you enjoyed my, A Week of Champagne and Celebrations, I certainly did.

Cheers!

  1. I have just read Sarah’s post and what a week for you. Huge well done on winning the competition Donna, and a deserving winner as your photo is amazing. It certainly sounds as if you have had lots of champagne and also some lovely meals too. Good luck to Harry in School of Rock x
