The Curl Company Current Curly girl approved products Review

Not all of the Curl company products are Curly Girl Method approved even though they are still suitable for curly hair and great quality if you are not following the curly girl method.

The Curl Company Curly girl method approved products are the Shape and Define styling gel, the Curl Company Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner and the Curl Company Sulphate-Free Conditioner as they contain no drying alcohols or Silicone. This a review of The Curl Company products made in London in with natural oils.

The Curl Company Sulphate-Free Conditioner 250ml

The first step I used was the conditioner after I had used a lo-poo shampoo I used the curl company sulphate free conditioner. This Sulfate-Free Conditioner contains their unique Professional CURLPLEX which is a blend of Moringa Oil and Meadowfoam Seed Oil. There is no silicone in it either.

This felt great on my hair! I had already washed it so I applied generously and combed through. I then rinsed my hair and it felt like it had really absorbed the conditioner and my fingers glided through it. It also had a lovely smell.

The Curl Company Curl Defining Leave-In Conditioner 250ml

Next up was the Curl company Leave-In Conditioner again containing the unique professional oil blend of CURLPLEX to enhance and define your curls.

By applying this as a leave in the aim is to Intensely moisturise thirsty curls It is also good to scrunch in to your hair in-between washes for extra moisture.

I applied this after I had washed and conditioned my hair by scrunching it in to the ends of my hair before applying my gel. I applied it to quite wet hair and brushed through with a Denman brush to help my curls clump together and not go stringy. It smelt beautiful it was light to apply and a little went a long way.

The Curl Company Shape & Define Styling Creme Gel 150ml

Next I tried the Curly Girl method approved Creme-Gel which again contains a unique blend of Moringa Oil and Meadowfoam Seed Oil. This smoothes and hydrates curls whilst adding long-lasting hold.

I loved this gel! It was a creamy silky and not too thick consistency but easy to apply. I did not need to use much and it left my hair well defined and but not cruncy due its No-crunch formula.

My hands felt a little sticky as I applied but soon after was fine and my hair did not feel sticky at all. It completly controlled my curls and there was no frizz after drying. It was not greasy or heavy and also wasn’t crunchy.

This product can also be used on dry hair to refresh as its a smooth consistency. To be used by smoothing onto dry or wet curls and styling as usual.

More Curl Company products.

The following are products which are great for curls and although contain some lovely ingredients they would not be any good for someone following the curly girl method and not suitable for the Curly girl method however The Curl Company are looking to make more of thier products CGM friendly in the near future.

They also do the curl company Curl enhancing cream which is an award winning cream and works perfectly with the gel and conditioner complimenting each other. This Curl Cream contains the same unique blend of Moringa Oil and Meadowfoam Seed Oil It works as an instant perfector for your curls, smoothing and de-frizzing for a flawless finish.

The Curl Company Hold & Body Curl Defining Mousse is said to defines curls & waves, Eliminate frizz and smooth unruly flyaway. It is also no crunch and defends your hair from heat.

The Curl Company Deep Conditioning Curl Masque 300ml. The Curl Masque also contains the unique Professional Curplex blend of Oils and is professionally formulated to enhance and define your curls and waves. To be used once a week when your curls need added shine. Use as you would a deep treatment by leaving on your hair for about 30 minutes before rinsing out.

The verdict! the curl company product review.

So The curl company product review was very successful! my hair felt great! As you can see my hair was full very curly and full of shine. In fact my hair had been feeling very weighed down lately but this time it felt much lighter. It clumped great as I had brushed the leave in through with a denman before applying my gel. I used conditioner the leave in and the gel to get this soft yet defined curl with lots of shine.

I feel like my curls were back! It was an easy recipe to follow and pretty reliable as sometimes I can wash and style and think what happened there!

They also do do bundles for around £30 so you can try all of the products together.

Just look at the shine and the curl on these ringlets! I have not had ringlets like this is ages!
