The company motto of Eat well, and feel well at Autumn Yard restaurant in Hackney really does ring true. Autumn yard is a new and upcoming restaurant promoting healthy good food. Situated in the heart of hackney downs in a disused warehouse it is hip and trendy.

Wether you are a meat eater, vegetarian or a vegan there will be something for everyone.
An urban open and fresh environment where chefs prepare daily recipes made with good wholesome food free from preservatives or colourings.
You can even buy your fruit and veg direct from the restaurants as well.
Serving food all day you can also pop in for brunch and have yourself a grilled halloumi ciabattta, or maybe some avocado, salmon and spinach on toast.
In the evening maybe try a sharing platter whilst sitting outside on one of their picnic benches catching the last of the evening sun. Don’t forget the cocktail in your other hand though! Its a great place to meet with others and has plenty of tables.
With ingredients such as quinoa and roasted squash the emphasis really is on healthy eating.
There are still some really nice treats on the menu though, such as pulled chilli chicken or Mexican carnitas pork. You could even try a peaches and halloumi wrap! how delicious does that sound?
The interior is Quirky in style with a huge open kitchen where you can see all of the chefs in action. A large bar and a restaurant shop.
The funky clean look is equipped with chalkboards, wood panels and crisp white tiles giving a lovely feel to the place. It has been decorated to a high standard with a homely feel.
Breakfast to dinner or even a takeaway lunch it’s good healthy food all day. You can even order lunch for your work meeting and share the good food all round.
I think breakfast deserves a mention too, with freshly baked pastries, hot banana bread or an Autumn yard bap you can start of the day in style. With this, Fresh coffee is a must and does not get forgotten.
There are some exciting cocktails and a range of other drinks on the menu, so plenty to keep you watered. I had a great time sampling the gin cocktails along with some of the platters.
Autumn Yard is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, I would love to try some of their exciting food sitting outside with a nice cool gin! ( did I mention Gin again? )
