Royal Caribbean Suite Class: Is it Worth it?
Whenever we sail with Royal Caribbean, we opt to travel in Suite Class whenever possible. Over the years, we’ve tried a range of suites from a Junior Suite to a spacious Two-Bedroom Grand Suite, and each one has added something special to our cruise experience.

Royal Suite Class is divided into three tiers: Sea, Sky, and Star, each with its own perks and level of luxury. In this review, we’ll share what’s included in Royal Caribbean’s Royal Suite Class, which ships offer it, and what you can expect when booking. We’ve also included a look at the Suite Lounge menu and Coastal Kitchen menus so you can get a taste of both the food and drinks on offer.
Let’s find out if the Suite Class is Worth it on Royal Caribbean?

One of the best things about the Royal Suite class is the luxury it entails. With your own private sun deck and bar your holiday is unique and tailored to your family. With Sky class perks such as eating in the Coastal Kitchen on the oasis class ships it can be extra special. If you choose to upgrade to a Star loft suite you will have more perks such as a full drinks package.

Classes of Suite Class

There are three different types of class in the Royal Caribbean suite class, Sea class, Sky class and Star Class depending on which suite you are staying in.
In all three suite classes on Royal Caribbean the following is included;
- A dedicated Check In Line on embarkation with priority Boarding,
- Coastal Kitchen Dinner ( if there is a Coastal Kitchen on the ship)
- Royal Caribbean Classic Bathrobes,

What Cabin do you have to have for Sea Class?

Sea class on Royal Caribbean is a Junior suite or a Junior suite with a large balcony.

What is the Junior Suite like on Royal Caribbean?

In a Junior suite on Royal caribbean you will have two twin beds that will convert to a Royal king bed a double sofa bed and a small seating area. A junior suite can accommodate 4 people. If you are looking for a cabin for families a suite can give you handy room. However it will not get you to Sky Class and the benefits are limited.
There is Tea and coffee making facilities in all suites on Royal Caribbean.

What Cabin do you have to have for Sky Class?

To be a Sky class suite lounge member you need to book one of the following suites;
- Sky Loft Suite

What are the Benefits of Booking a Grand Suite Over a Junior Suite?

The main benefit of going for a Grand suite or above is that you will get extra Amenities such as access to the Suite Lounge and or Coastal kitchen ( if there is one on your ship)
You also get double Crown and Anchor points to enable to climb to the next tier quicker with more benefits.

What is Included in a Sky Class Suite?

If you book sky class you get all of the main services plus the following;
- Voom fast WIFI for each Sky Class guests receive one free Voom Surf and Stream internet package for the duration of the cruise this also includes children.
- A dedicated concierge Service on the ship. They will also email you before your embarkation date to introduce themselves.
- Bottled water on arrival.
- Exclusive Signature Activities such as drinks with the officers.
- Suite Lounge or Concierge Club Access including free drinks at certain times,
- Access to the Coastal kitchen where you can have breakfast lunch and dinner.
- Priority embarking with your own designated counters,
- Priority departure to get off of the ship early. Your bags with be first off of the ship waiting for you in a designated area. You will also be escorted off of the ship should you wish with a private lift.
- Access to a private sun deck that is reserved just for suite guests. The sun deck includes A bar, sun loungers a cigar lounge and cabanas.

- Luxury Bathroom Amenities by L’Occitane
- Exclusive Access to the Barefoot Beach Club at the Private Destination of Labadee

Reserved Seating for Shows With a Suite?

If you are Sky class you can show your SeaPass card at the entrance 20 minutes prior to show time for entrance in to the show in a prime area. Even if you do not wish to sit there you are guaranteed entry.

The Coastal Kitchen is a luxury restaurant for suite guests. This stylish restaurant serves three meals a day with glorious views of the ship.
The Coastal kitchen restaurant is only available on the Oasis and Spectrum class ships which include the following;

- Allure of the Seas.
- Harmony of the Seas.
- Oasis of the Seas.
- Ovation of the Seas.
- Quantum of the Seas.
- Symphony of the Seas.

You can book your evening dinner time with the Coastal Kitchen restaurant manager or the concierge in the lounge.
You can have drinks from the complimentary drinks menu below or purchase wine from the Coastal Kitchen Wine menu.
The Menu in Coastal Kitchen Onboard the Oasis Class Ships

The breakfast menu and lunch menu normally stay the same each day and you do not have to book. The evening menu in the coastal kitchen evening meal changes nightly and must be booked in advance.

Tea and Coffee in the Suite lounge on Royal Caribbean

Yes there is a self serve coffee machine that serves freshly ground coffee in the suite lounge. There is also a machine serving juice. The suite lounge has tea and coffee available all day.
Does the Suite lounge Include Food?

In the suite lounge they bring out snacks at the same time as the evening cocktail drinks from 4.30pm until 8pm. They serve a range of hot and cold appetisers as well as desserts.
The suite lounge also serves tea, coffee, orange juice and pastries in the morning for breakfast.
Drinks Included in the Suite Lounge for Suite Guests

In the Suite lounge onboard Royal Caribbean you have complimentary drinks and Alcoholic drinks from 11.30am until 11pm. Between the hours of 4pm and 8.30pm you also have complimentary alcoholic spirits and cocktails.
What Can the Suite Lounge Concierge Help With on Royal Caribbean?

Your suite lounge concierge can also book any excursions for you as well as specialty restaurants. If you wish to have a cabana on Cococay or Labadee they can book this for you too.
Your concierge can help you disembark by escorting you down in a designated lift. The Concierge can book your coastal kitchen meals, issue a new cabin pass and arrange seating in the theatre.
