We soon came to realise that the independent growers in Premier and Grand Cru villages also produce some fantastic wines. These Champagnes are very reasonably priced, plus you will have fun tasting them. We have since visited many others and sometimes a few in a day. I hope you look forward to seeing these insights. Stay tuned for more champagne tours.

Is Dom Perpignan part of Moet et Chandon?

Until the 1943 vintage, Dom Pérignon was produced from vintage Moët & Chandon Champagne. This was then transferred to the dom perignon style 18th century bottles to go in the cellar. Since them Dom perignon has been produced. From the 1947 vintage Dom Pérignon has been produced separately from the start.
