Animal prints are big this year and can be found in every high street store in a variety of different colours and prints. I love autumn and the cross over in to winter styling, Knitted dresses, warm colours, boots and tights that pretty much sums up my wardrobe. It is easy to update a dress by adding layers for extra warmth on a cold day.

I am not normally a leopard print kind of girl but I was drawn towards it this season and I particularly love the bright colours too. Midi dresses have been huge this year also. I love the fact they are so versatile. You can wear them in so many ways, with heels for the evening, with boots and tights for the day and you can even pop over a chunky jumper for a completely different look.

Here are a few of my autumn winter buys I have recently picked up.

Snakeskin midi shirt dress from Tesco

Who does not love snake skin? this grey Snakeskin midi shirt dress was picked up in Tesco’s F and F!

I love how I can wear this with chunky boots and tights for a daytime look or pretty heels for nighttime.

AX paris red leopard print midi dress

This red leopard print dress is made by AX paris I actually picked it up at one of my local stores in Billericay, Lauren Cole. They have great range of clothes which is constantly changing perfect for a last minute seasonal buy. The dress is a brilliant cross over from summer to Autumn. Now as the winter is drawing in I have worn this with a chunky knit black jumper and cropped leather jacket.

Next is a Next Midi perfect for a special occasion

Ok so not animal print but a midi all the same. I picked this up for a wedding this year and fell in love with it. A cross floral wrap midi dress from Next at £49.99. Not the cheapest of the bunch but its super satin feel makes it feel very luxurious. Its super bright and can be dressed up or down. I feel like ill be wearing this next summer also.

Topshop is a firm favourite of mine

So not a midi but possibly my favourite pick of the bunch! This autumnal rust  animal print Topshop dress has been my favourite buy this season! Topshop is often seen as young kind of shop but I really feel there is something for everyone. Whilst I sometimes feel that some of the styler are young for me I always find something suitable. This dress has bell sleeves and a pussybow neck which can be left undone. I have styled it many ways with heels, heeled boots and also a chunky jumper whats not to love?

Affordable fashion at my new favourite shop Stradivarius

My new favourite shop for fashion is Stradivarius. I came across this in Spain where it originates, there are however stores in London and an online shop. You can also pick up pieces on ASOS as well. Thier pricing is great with this dress being only £19.99 ( cheaper still in Spain ) and the mustard Stradivarius coat costing £39.99.

I love it’s versatility it looks great with sandals in the summer and now I can wear it with tights and boots in the winter. Shhh! I just may of bought it in Black too!

The bargain of the day goes to this knitted jumper dress from Tesco’s F an F. At just £12.99 I was super impressed, again light enough for the less chilly days and can be layered up with a chunky scarf and wooly tights.

Those boots were made for walking

I actually bought these boots last year, they are at the rather luxurious end of the price range at a little over £300! I know I hear you say how much? But these are my Joseph Cheaneys, also worn on the set of the peaky blinders themselves. Handmade using the best quality components and a finished with a highly skilled handcraft, ensuring that every pair is unique. You can even have your shoes and boots refurbished with skill and care. Cheaneys craftsmen rebuild the shoe, using genuine components and reconstruct it to its original specifications. So effetely they should also last you forever.

They are by far the most comfy and classic thing in my wardrobe to date and worth every penny as they will be in my wardrobe for years to come.

Sketchers have really upped their game and after I wandering past their covent garden store last month these caught my eye. Supersoft and comfortable they can be put on with anything from jeans to knit dresses for comfy slouchy look. I just wish they did them in Black! These were priced at £69.99.
