Get Creative this year and discover a new craft
Crafting is not only a great way to get creative but it can also be good for your mind and your wellbeing too. There are many Craft Days in Essex to be had where you can try a range of fun crafts most of which involve cake!
I have always loved crafting since I was a little girl so much so that my first crafting lessons as a child envolved great craft enthusiasm. Sitting at the table with my mum glittering Christmas cards at just five, I bounded off my chair and ran down the the room to show my dad. On the exhuberant route back I slipped up banged my head and ended up with a trip to hospital for stitches. It never stopped me and I think I may of tried many more crafts to date since ( minus the accidents )
This year I am planning on finding more time to do what I love and discovering even more crafts. It doesn’t matter where you live there will always be someone close to you that loves their craft so much they will want to share it with you.
Here is a little roundup of the latest crafts I have been exploring and some beautiful event spaces in Essex and The South East

My niece Eden at Little Miss Eden Rose loves the Hazels Pottery Barn which is great for adults and children alike paint your own plate or ornament which is later fired for you.
You could always find your creative side at Deans Smith art classes too. A friendly environment where you can learn to paint, or draw. You may even find another craft you would like to try your hand at in one of Barleylands many craft shops too.
