Busy London! Word of the Week

Busy London! Word of the Week, These last two weeks have been very busy! full of shows meals out and museums. Lots of dressing up and even some scrapbooking thrown in. A visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum was lovely its been along time since I’ve been here. I loved looking at the stunning gems in the jewellery section and the museum in itself is such  a beautiful building.

london days out

We had a meal at the Oxo tower as part of the London restaurant festival. It was a real treat and beautiful food. This is the view from the thames on the south side of the water.

We found another great little Italian restaurant called Obica near oxford street which has the most amazing mozzarella flown in from italy 3 times week. It is mouthwateringly delicious.

London night out

We took the boys to see Peter Pan goes wrong at the Apollo theatre in london. It was fantastic and a must see for christmas if you are going to London with the kids.

We also did the Cicchetti trail for the London restaurant festival, we again found some more fabulous places to go back to. Its really unbelievable the amount of restaurants in London you walk past everyday and don’t realise are there. For some more great restaurants visit here..

I don’t think we will ever tire of this place its truly amazing . It will be sad to see it end.

week

Lots of dressing up over the last few days too. My friend Lynsey celebrated her 40th birthday so we all dressed up in 1940’s clothes and had a good old knees up.

Followed by a great halloween party too where everyone made a real effort. Harry wanted to be the Joker from the Suicide Squad. So I spent hours drawing on tattoos on his t shirt and painting faces.
