Review

This is Isabella’s debut book and is an interesting mix of laughter, torment and cake. From the opening chapter it had me laughing , depicting a cringeworthy escapade with a beautiful French man.

Pavlova is written with great humour and completely down to earth. Yet the topic has a darker side and gives you an insight in to what can go on behind closed doors.

This happy go lucky girl who has the odd Bridgett Jones moment every now and then, sinks in to despair. She handles her life quite well and is a successful business woman but you can not help but want more for her. You see her confidence wane as she is constantly bullied. In parts of the book I was holding my breath with her.

This book left wanting more I wanted to know what was going to happen when was she going to tell this bully to go on his merry way? would she ever?

Kate became a person craving attention and realising that there was more to life than a messed up Palova.

I loved hearing about the different destinations such as Venice, New York and even London. It was like well written travel journal with interesting places to eat and visit.

Oh What A Pavlova makes an interesting read well written read.

When she isn’t having her cake and eating it, drinking cocktails on the beach, or ferrying her children to and from after school, she can usually be found writing.
