Theres so many special events to do in London ,every month changes. Here I’ve rounded up a few ideas to make you get the most of what the capital has to offer. So heres some Things to do with the kids in London this month: September.

Brazil Day in Trafalgar Square

Check out Brazil Day in Trafalgar Square. To celebrate the Rio Olympic games you can Experience Brazilian food, A carnival atmosphere and take part in some olympic themed activities.

Watch highlights of the Rio Olympic games on the big screen. Free entry and takes place between 12pm and 7pm.

 

Open house London.

Go Behind the scenes of Some of London’s most Iconic Buildings. This Annual event which Takes place on the 17th and 18th of September, Is the Capitals largest Architecture and design event. With more than 700 buildings open, with tours and walks you be hard pressed not to find something to do. It’s the Perfect chance to explore some interesting building’s and take some photos.

London Wonderground at the Southbank.

The Southbank is always a hub of activity and is the perfect place to explore. So come to the circus to see some of the hottest acts on the alternative scene as London Wonderground returns to the Southbank Centre.

Find weird and wonderful cabaret, comedy, circus and family shows, surrounded by quirky riverside bars, restaurants and fairground rides.

Pearly Kings and Queens Harvest Festival at the Guildhall.

Join the Pearly Kings and Queens of London for an unforgettable sight at the Guildhall they will be celebrating the bounty of the autumn harvest with traditional entertainment from 1.30pm, before parading through the streets to St Mary Le Bow Church for a service of thanksgiving at 3pm.

Expect Morris dancing, maypole dancing, marching bands, and Drummers. Raising money for Charity in the meantime.

Last chance for the Buckingham Palace state rooms tour this September.

Don’t miss out on your last chance to see the state rooms this year.  This year’s special exhibition will celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday with a display of outfits worn during her life and reign. When you visit you will gain entry in to Fashioning a Reign; 90 years of style from the Queens wardrobe. Where you can expect to see the Queens Wedding dress and Coronation dress for the first time ever.

The Thames’s festival Trust is hosting an unmissable season of events. The Take me to the river festival runs all month from the 1st to the 30th of September.

Bringing the river to life with multiple activities and programmes. Expect to see river front celebrations, Amazing artwork, organised tours and walks and much more.

  1. Wish we lived closer to London. I love the sound of all of these events, and there is so much going on in the capital. We loved our stay during the summer, and I wish we stayed for longer than 1 night. Thanks for sharing x
